captain will has been fishing in south florida as a professional charter captain for three years. originally from california he has worked as a deckhand on some of the biggest names in the game. such as the redondo special and excell long range chartes from the age of 18. now in florida he specializes in wide variety of techniques such as vertical jgging, offshore trolling, kite fishing, planer trolling as well as several varieties of bottom fishing including deep dropping vertical jiging and snapper fishing. all this on a spectacular platform. he runs the ftlauderdale offshore a 2017 bimini boats 28 foot center console powered by twin 150 hp honda 4 stroke outboard engines and prides himself on only using the finest quality fishing gear. capt. will is also a certified paramedic, firefighter and emergency registered nurse and takes safetey very seriously.

This is the bread and butter meat fishing technique. We can target anything from  King mackerel, tuna, mahimahi, sailfish, Bonito and just about anything that feeds on other fish. This technique is great for the Beginner and is best performed in the early daytime.

We are at a unique advantage here in Florida as we have the most abundant swordfish breeding grounds in the world. This trip will break out the big guns! We’ll use the Lidgren Pitman Electric reel to target swordfish where they live during the daytime anywhere from 1600 to 2100 feet deep! This trip requires a lot of patience. We’re using one bait for the fish of a lifetime! Swordfish in Florida are usually found between 80 to 300 lbs and occasionally even bigger! We will also troll a single bait in case the stray Tuna or Mahi Mahi decide to join the party.
